Hi! I'm Janine.
When I was eight months pregnant with my second child, I was lonely and exhausted, craving friendship and spiritual growth. I was invited to join a weekly women’s Bible study. I was busy and not sure if I wanted to go and be part of a ‘gossip’ circle. I went anyway to check it out. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
That Bible study changed my life.
It helped me find Jesus, whom I had been serving but not spending time with daily. It helped me fall in love with God’s Word.
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
That women’s Bible study showed me how lingering with Jesus renews the mind and makes transformation into the likeness of Christ possible.
A passion for studying God’s Word was ignited and I will not stop. I long to bring others along with me.
Life is busy fulfilling my many roles.
Mommy – Sweetheart – Daughter – Auntie Nene – Sis – Friend – Youth Pastor’s Wife – Bible Teacher – Author – Speaker – Fruit Cultivator …
Filling this many roles has brought
many joys into my life but also many challenges.
Because of my time studying the Scriptures, I’ve learned that
God truly has the answers that I seek, the comfort that I need,
the peace that I long for, and the joy that I desire.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, unfulfilled, or empty, there is hope.
When the joy seems to be sucked right out of you, when we’re tested, that’s when we find out if there is any truth to Jesus and His Word.
When we Linger with Jesus, Live in the Spirit, and Love God’s Word, we transform into the likeness of Christ and overflow with joy!
